Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) focuses on the theme of Geological Disaster Mitigation Socialization for teachers and students of SMA IT Asy Syukriyyah Tangerang. The main aim of this activity based on the instruments used is to measure and assess individual attitudes and opinions regarding the socialization provided. The method for implementing this activity includes administering a pre-socialization questionnaire to measure participants' initial understanding of geological disasters, followed by distributing material related to the earthquake and tsunami disaster via the Zoom platform and ending with a post-socialization survey to assess the benefits of the socialization efforts. The results of this research showed that activities carried out online via the Zoom application were very useful in increasing respondents' knowledge regarding the earthquake and tsunami disaster. It is hoped that this activity can continue in the future, especially for schools in the Jabodetabek area.
